Our verdict: worth keeping an eye on

MIT, 1.2k stars, TypeScript on LangChain Deep Agents. The four things it sells - plan-act loop, parallel task subagents, on-demand SKILL.md loading, structured JSON output - are all things Claude Code already gives us natively, and its Search/Scrape/Interact tools need a paid Firecrawl key. Adopting it would be rebuilding our harness in someone else GRAFT: its formatOutput pattern (agent emits a JSON schema instead of prose) and its skills/definitions layout.
