Our verdict: worth borrowing ideas from
MIT Next.js 16 agency starter by the Lenis authors. Mined 2026-09-02 at 8cdce31. Payload: single Tempus frame-order ladder (R3F 1 / Lenis 5 / marquee 6 / GSAP 10 / DOM writes 1000), the tunnel-rat WebGL-over-DOM canvas pattern with an orthographic 1:1 pixel camera, DOM-rect-to-3D math, WebGL context-loss recovery, and a reduced-motion contract where the canvas simply never mounts. No video component and no page-transition/preloader exist here.
