What if an AI factory arrived with much of the complex integration already done?

NVIDIA DSX POD brings Vera Rubin infrastructure pre-integrated and tested in factory-built containers to prepared sites—reducing onsite deployment from six months to as little as 14 days.

    “is Replit built with Replit?”

    The answer was historically “kinda.”

    But today it’s “absolutely!”

Introducing Cloud Agents: run any codebase and generate pull requests right from Replit.

Same UX you love, but can run any repo!

The CFO’s office might be the most underrated place to build AI right now.

Huge budgets, a ton of repetitive work, and teams that are stretched thin every single month.

@Hyphenate saw it early. They just announced a monster $45M Series A at a $270M valuation led by Nexus Venture Partners, with B Capital and OpenAI, HubSpot, and Dropbox joining in.

Here’s why it matters for the enterprise AI playbook: They didn't build another novelty chatbot. They built an autonomous finance platform for the office of the CFO.

Their agents run real workflows across revenue, treasury, and accounting. The software executes the heavy lifting across existing systems, learns the operation, and only flags a human when genuine judgment is required.

When product-market fit hits hard in enterprise software, it means you're solving a massive, painful problem.

Check out the full story and what the team is building: https://hyphenate.ai/press/hyphenate-series-a-fundraise/?utm_source=x&utm_medium=influencer-social&utm_campaign=series-a&utm_content=passionfroot

Massive congrats to the Hyphenate team.

Love seeing these open-source efforts. @Hi3D_AI recently released their 3D model, Hi3D V1.0.

Built on Sparc3D, it uses a reference image to add detail to a rough 3D mesh.

V1 includes inference code and model weights for geometry refinement, with texture generation available in the separate commercial V3.

Every winter, @MIT has run a 1-month class (6.9630) in which students make poker AIs and compete against each other for cash prizes. Coding agents have accelerated that process so much that it's now possible to build a poker bot in an *hour*.

Also, I'll be at the finals!

Ghostty 1.4 is now out! Full Kitty graphics with animation (the first terminal besides Kitty to do it), scrollback compression for much lower memory usage, macOS 27 support, a new OpenGL renderer on Linux, ghostty +ssh, big performance gains, and hundreds more changes.

    The highlights:

    - Scrollback compression: scrollback compresses ~90+% on average, meaning your terminals use that much less live memory - Huge memory savings across the board: no single large thing, just lots of good improvements lowers memory usage everywhere, netting anywhere from 50 to 90% less memory usage depending on workload - Kitty graphics is now 100% complete, including animation and relative placements, after a full conformance pass against the spec and Kitty itself - The Kitty clipboard protocol, with an image preview when a program asks to read your clipboard - Split drag and drop on Linux, including between windows - ghostty +ssh installs terminfo on remote hosts automatically, so things just work over SSH - Lots of terminal emulation accuracy fixes

This release is 7 months of work from 172 contributors over 2,889 commits. It also fixes 10 security advisories, so please update.

New on the cryoET Data Portal: three cryo-electron tomography datasets benchmarking the dual laser phase plate (xLPP). The microscope captured PP7 virus-like particles in an E. coli cell, and results confirm the unprecedented resolution enabled by the xLPP technology.

The portal puts the data in researchers’ hands to explore, evaluate, and build on. Check it out: https://cryoetdataportal.czscience.com/depositions/10363

  16. Video editors keep asking me whether they need a separate AI tool for every step of an edit. Apple's Creator Studio update moves a lot of that inside Final Cut Pro for Mac: MotionVFX templates, titles and transitions built in, plus tools for rotoscoping, tracking and color grading. You can also send a still from the timeline to Pixelmator Pro, use Generate Fill to change part of it by describing the edit, and it saves back to the project. It lands in November as a free update for existing subscribers.

My suggestion while you wait: pick a project you already cut, list every trip you made to another app, and count how many of those trips this would remove. 🎬

Doing some multiplayer autoresearch and Gemini Argon 4 is crushing it.

"Gemini 4 Argon set every frontier, but its round 3 breakthrough (0.625 → 0.938) opened by citing round 2's failed attempts: Fable and Sol had both tried loosening the long-sentence rule and dropped the score, so Argon kept that rule and changed something else. Fable and Sol scored 0.938 and 0.875 in round 4 building on Argon's skill."

Genie 4 is quite an insane experience, generating game-like enviornments as you go. It isn't flawless but I can type "Neogothic brutalist city inhabited by robots and horses" & it creates one in a minute. Then I asked it to add dragons. Then a friendly otter NPC. All in realtime

It's finally here, Genie 4 has been released in research preview, and will be available to Ultra subscribers soon. Some of my friends were in the closed test, so maybe they can finally talk about it now. I'm really looking forward to this.

    interesting

I was against the opinion of

    "AI can't code"

before everyone else was, and now everyone agrees AI can code.

Same thing is happening now with me being against the idea of

    "SaaS is dead"

If you think this, you just cant think of good ideas.

Genie 4, our new world model!

  29. Google AI

    @GoogleAI ·

Introducing Genie 4 from @GoogleDeepMind, our most realistic and interactive world model yet 🌍

Now you can use natural language to dynamically steer the world and its soundscape in real-time, whether you're changing the weather, moving the camera, or introducing new elements to the environment.

So, how does the model do that?

Behind the scenes, Gemini acts as the "brain" of the simulation. It translates your requests into actions, plans out complex events, watches the scene unfold to keep track of what's happening, and adjusts as you change the story. Genie 4 also introduces ambient audio and real-time interactive human dialogue that adapts on the fly.
