“The outflows ceased when we paused withdrawal service earlier.”

No, they didn't. The hackers continued draining funds for hours after withdrawals were paused.

Making such an easily verifiable false statement about a security incident doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

If it’s made of code, we can run it!

I predict people will run back to popular mature software once the hacks really start (and no, they haven't started. AT ALL). Yeah you can use a sandbox this guy vibe coded but you'll learn a painful & expensive lesson & run to Firecracker/gVisor, same for the browser, the framework, the infra, the kernel, the web server, or anything. If you think KVM or Chrome having a couple rce means you should go build your own, or use this other new thing, you have no idea how bad it's going to get for you. As weird as it may seem, I do believe software will actually centralize & consolidate into few winner products due to security reasons. If you want to win in this coming era, BUILD SECURE SOFTWARE. That will be a moat at a time anyone can build anything - but It's not as easy as running Mythos on your code. Hackers are going to hack. There isn't a coverage checklist you go through and you'll be safe (although that's the dominant bs cybersecurity "expert" narrative). You will never be safe, you are only safer than the next guy. Assume breach, hire real hackers & be paranoid beyond reason. Building secure software is not easy but the bar is too low to compete - esp for technical leaders. If your security tests are people you employ who are mediocre, you are going to get hacked, no matter your threatmodel. Realistically most can't hire the few best hackers out there but if you want to win by remaining out of the news when your competitor product gets inevitably gets hacked, spend the money and get even 1 hour of their time. This will make sense in due time. b660484e4727dca6c5c08293bc29e832df2b151253adeffd34163d3a5217de7e

I have a skill for writing up eval experiments as artifacts and just added these principles to it. It was already pretty well optimized but this still really helped. Here's the before and after:

Amazing technology is being developed and released at a rate humans can hardly keep up with.

Agents are shipping software faster than we can yap about it.

There's stories in the replies here of people traveling the world while receiving 2 years of free salary for being "burnt out "

    It's amazing!

I know stories of people receiving social housing apartments paying €300/mo, illegally renting them out for €1500/mo to expats then making a €1200/mo profit

Then they added unemployment, which is FREE fully paid salary of 70% of their last salary, 10 years ago that'd go on for 3 years (now 2 years), so in their case that was about €3500/mo of his previous €5000/mo salary

Then they moved to the other side of the world to a cheap country so they could make it go longer

€1200/mo renting out social housing illegally €3500/mo unemployment += €4700/mo free money for 3+ years

If you wonder why Europeans don't like to work, it's because in Europe you don't actually need to work at all to make a lot of money

which companies have a healthy culture today in AI?

    - hiring slowly - no tokenmaxxing - work/life balance - ai-pilled but not psychotic

Bullish on Andy Yen and Proton. He gets it.

The culture war, or rather the loss of identity some engineers feel as AI redefines our jobs is difficult; I sympathize. Also understand that he runs a business and might has limited patience when we now had two years to process, learn, change and grow.

    SaaS acquisition has drastically shifted

a few thoughts on how to navigate this:

organic traffic from Google goes to zero but you need SEO to get mentioned by AI

UGC content and influencer marketing are more important than ever, pay influencers if you can

product needs to be incredibly good people's tolerance for bugs is going to zero

branding matters more than ever go stand for something

be where the AI goes: - Reddit - X articles - blog listicles

ngl, it's tough but you can make it

I'm adding @Razorpay to TrustMRR, and I need your help.

If you've made $1,000 on Razorpay and want to join TrustMRR, please send me a DM.

I'll manually build the public revenue page for your startup so I can test the Razorpay API with real API keys. Thanks!

i gave this X-ray to 8 open vision models, 3 runs each

all 8 kept the "Sin" side marker in every run, and blacked out the name, ID, birth date, accession number and exam time

they split on just one line: the hospital's name. would you count it as an identifier?

My new course is filmed, but we're not done shipping

Added this "Session" panel, which has the full transcript of the session I'm walking through

It auto-scrolls with the video, and lets you pop out to second-screen it

Makes it feel like we're coding together

Qwen3.8-Flash-Next for one DGX Spark is now abliterated 🔥

    - Off by default - Turn it on with ABLIT=1 - Gated until you accept terms

Also in this release: - Fixed a bug where a failed disk read could silently feed the model wrong data - http://stop.sh no longer trusts what the server tells it - New ready-made Docker image, so setup is faster

Special thanks to @u1tra_instinct for the ablit work.

This is an excellent article on the end of pure mathematics as a field and a new beginning for applied math.

Mathematicians who are sour about AI solving all the math problems should read this carefully and stop being pure math intellectual snobs. Those days are over; there is a new dawn for humanity.

“New incentives can be designed around problems that genuinely matter for better human life, for individual and social health, for planetary flourishing. And we are not short of those problems.

Viewed from the generative encounter model of mathematical progress, a true golden age of mathematics, rooted in human purpose and new visions of education and collective reward, may have just begun.”

    It took me:

    - 2 years to make $1 online - 8 months to get 1,000 followers - 3 months to grow a SaaS to $1k MRR

I’ve built 43 startups and posted 38.7K tweets.

    It takes time.

Whoever pretends otherwise is trying to sell you a get-rich-quick dream.

  25. Cursor

    @cursor_ai ·

We identified a security incident affecting a modified Claude Code VS Code extension accessed through our Cursor IDE extension marketplace, impacting at most 5,000 users. This malicious version of the extension was not developed by Anthropic. It does not impact other extensions downloaded from the http://cursor.com/marketplace, Grok Bot, Grok or our other SpaceXSI products.

In response, we took down our extension marketplace this afternoon, worked with relevant providers to neutralize the malware, and have reinstated the marketplace after confirming there is no further risk.

If affected, please review instructions in this blog post to understand how to find the malicious package and establish a path to mitigate any potential impact. We are asking all customers update to Claude Code for VS Code version 2.1.314: https://cursor.com/blog/claude-code-extension-security-notice
