Running the most powerful model on every query is like asking your highest-paid employee to do every task.

That's how our President @GeorgeHuSF thinks about it and at Fireworks Forge, he'll share what to do instead.

This is just incredible! Google Gemini Carbon AI model is now No. 1 in v5.0 of the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index! This new version eliminates most benchmaxxing concerns, so this is the real thing!

As I said, “never bet against Google!”

Yes, majority of my Dutch friends are "burn out"

You get 1 year of FREE fully paid salary and then another year of 70% FREE fully paid salary and you can just sit at home and chill!

You have to keep "appearances" up though because you might get snitched, so on Facetime with friends you do this schtick:

"It's all too much for me"

    "I'm so tired"

"I don't think I can go back to work yet"

Meanwhile it's partyyyyyyyy time chilling at home with Netflix and popcorn

Welcome to European social welfare in 2026 😂

Remember when I said we should only look at output and quality. If you make good stuff, then people should not care if you do or don't use AI... Or how you use it, or when you use it...

programmers tend to be weak at product because they become enamored with their decisions

for 99% of decisions all of the options are valid. they just determine the position your product takes

and the decisions you can brag about usually put your product in weak positions

    OpenAI, seriously...

So many little broken things. Which makes it feel like everything is broken. Dont even get me started on deep links.

I love how quickly our team works to bring the latest LTS and security upgrades for @nodejs.

Should be a nice performance boost given 𝚏𝚎𝚝𝚌𝚑 now uses HTTP/2 by default, and agents produce a lot of network traffic

Careful shorting this. Binance will have to buy before the hackers are able to sell.

It does look bearish medium term though.

Spoke to someone leading AI enablement at a massive retailer.

The #1 problem they’re running into: AI transformation is owned by IT and all initiatives must run through their AI Center of Excellence.

This is causing two parallel issues: 1) Employees outside of IT aren’t given the tooling/infra needed to automate anything beyond simple workflows/use cases (read: citizen developer SDLC) 2) Rolling out AI is bottlenecked by ITs ability to own and approve every initiative

This challenge is incredibly common across enterprises & you can quickly appreciate why…

On one hand, you can empathize with IT. They’re not incentivized to take risks & embrace disruption, so the risk-return of decentralizing AI implementation cross-org is not obvious.

On the other hand, an enterprise’s ability to metabolize raw intelligence is metered by its corporate SDLC. IT is often the bottleneck in that SDLC and it’s not hyperbolic to say that poses existential risk for the enterprise.
